Emsea are proud sponsors of Team Passion Fit – a group of triathletes based in Cheltenham. Last weekend, 7 members of the team (including our very own Alex) took part in the 70.3 World Championship which for many, would be the pinnacle of their racing career to date. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Nice, the scenery was guaranteed to the dramatic – just like the racing! Lining up against the likes of Alistair Brownlee, around 6,000 participants took part in the two-day event – girls racing on Saturday and the boys racing on Sunday.
The weather was perfect – which ensured a non-wetsuit swim in the clear blue Mediterranean, a challenging bike course and a run along the legendary Promenade des Anglais waterfront completing the 70.3 distance.
As predicted and as a testament to their hard work in training, all athletes put in a sterling performance. We are proud to help support the group and look forward to the next event!
